Einar is responsible for developing the longitudinal database ASTRID containing long-time series of localized records on the population, employment and land-use. ASTRID is a central resource when it comes to the development of a series of geographical micro-simulation models. Einar is active at the Department of Geography and Economic History at Umeå University.
